Moraine Park’s Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) Certificate prepares students for entry-level employment as gas tungsten arc welders in as little as six months, and students can also choose to continue their education by applying their certificate credits to the Welding technical diploma.
Gas tungsten arc welding, also known as TIG welding, is a welding process that can be used on most metals and alloys, and is popular for production and repair welding needs.
MPTC welding students gain hands-on experience using welding equipment and learn welding safety, occupational math, welding print reading and gas tungsten arc welding in all positions.
