About MPTC

President's Welcome

On behalf of Moraine Park Technical College, I would like to extend a sincere welcome to you. Whether you are a current student, prospective student, family member, or community member visiting our site, we are glad that you have given us the opportunity to show-off all of the great things happening here at the College.

As you may know, Moraine Park extends much farther than our three main campuses in Fond du Lac, Beaver Dam, and West Bend. We also have two regional centers in Jackson and Ripon, as well as several instructional centers throughout Green Lake, Fond du Lac, Dodge, and Washington Counties. We are working hard to make education accessible and affordable for individuals interested in a technical education.

The faculty and staff at Moraine Park are working hard year-round to provide students with quality education so that they can enter the workforce. From earning your GED to completing your first two years of a bachelor’s degree, and everything in-between, Moraine Park can get you where you want to go. We have more than 110 in-demand career choices, and we offer credit transfer agreements with more than 40 four-year colleges and universities and over 80 college-level courses at our area high schools.

The average annual salary of Moraine Park graduates is approximately $43,000. Ninety percent of our graduates find employment within six months of graduation, with 84 percent of those jobs in related fields. Our nursing and health care programs have some of the best national board exam pass rates in the state and the country – not only exceeding the national average but, in several programs, achieving a 100 percent pass rate.

Enriching the lives of our students is also a large part of our focus and mission here at Moraine Park. We strive to make sure that college life experiences are available to all students. That’s why we offer nearly 30 student clubs, service-learning opportunities, and numerous ways to get involved with student government. We also offer the opportunity to experience cultural diversity either domestically or abroad. These Cultural Connections opportunities are linked to academic course credit, financial aid-eligible and intended to give each participant a meaningful experience while impacting our local, domestic and global community.

If you’ve never visited one of our campuses, or if it’s been a while, I invite you to stop by and discover for yourself what Moraine Park has to offer. Whether it’s new programs, simplified student processes to move you through the application process more efficiently, improved communications or newly remodeled facilities, I’m confident you’ll be impressed.

Don’t wait! Take the first step to achieving your educational goals by contacting one of our friendly and helpful Student Services staff members. We look forward to helping you ‘Imagine What’s Next.’

Sincerely,

Bonnie Baerwald
