This policy applies to all students applying to undergraduate programs at Moraine Park Technical College. This policy does not govern program petition process. This process also does not apply to a waitlist for a particular course or section.
Some high-demand/limited-enrollment programs at Moraine Park Technical College reach capacity based on the number of students who complete admission. A waitlist may develop for a program at any time and depends on the number of applicants. Applicants are accepted into limited-enrollment programs on a first-come, first-served basis. Students move from program waitlists based upon available space and in some programs, successful academic progress. No weight is given in the admissions or waitlist process to age, gender, race, ethnicity or first language origin. Waitlisted programs are also published on the Moraine Park Technical College website.
The purpose of this policy is to ensure consistency and equity within the College’s admissions processes.
