The Information Technology – Mobile Applications Developer associate degree program focuses on entry-level skills to create mobile applications for commercial and non-profit purposes.
What You'll Learn
Students in the Information Technology – Mobile Applications Developer program use development kits for popular mobile platforms, programming and markup language basics. Students also learn the skills and business aspects involved in deploying a mobile app in the market. Graduates are well-versed in mobile design theory and principles. A focus is placed on UX/UI design and coding for iOS and Android operating systems.
Earn Two Degrees at Once!
Students can earn both the Information Technology - Web Development and Design Specialist and Information Technology - Mobile Applications Developer Associate of Applied Science degrees in only five terms, and as little as two and a half years. Credit for Prior Learning
Earn college credit outside the classroom through Moraine Park’s Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) opportunities. Credit opportunities are available for:
- Previous college coursework from prior institutions
- Military training and experience
- Passing of MPTC or national exams
- Skills or knowledge developed on the job or through other life experiences

Financial Aid is available for associate degree and technical diploma programs (those that are 2 semesters in length and typically with 28 credits or more).
