Overview
- A “C” grade (or equivalent for pass/fail courses) must be attained in all courses required for program graduation.
- Failure to maintain standards will place students on academic probation or suspension. (See Academic Standing Procedure PR 716.05)
- Transfer credit, as well as Moraine Park Technical College credit (including dual credit), may be subject to age limits. (See Age of Credits Procedure PR 714.01)
Policy AP 714: Academic Program Requirements
Most programs at Moraine Park Technical College are open admission. However, certain academic programs have additional requirements for admission, core coursework requirements, or program completion. These requirements may be based on programmatic accreditation, clinical or placement requirements, licensure, applicable state or federal legislation, or program capacity. Information about additional program requirements is made readily available by publication on the program’s webpage and program materials.
No weight is given in any such requirements process to age, gender, race, ethnicity, or first language origin.
